Egyptian Mangoes
Keitt, Kent, Tommy Atkins, Ewais and Zebda mangoes from Ismailia and the Nile Valley, packed in 4 kg cartons and shipped by reefer or air from July to October.
Egyptian mangoes are summer fruit, from July to October. Keitt and Kent travel best by sea; the fragrant, fibre-free Ewais and Zebda — Egyptian favourites — suit air freight and short sea routes to the Gulf.
Fruit is harvested mature-green, graded by weight, packed in single-layer 4 kg cartons, and shipped at a temperature that lets it ripen evenly on arrival.
